Service always goes beyond my expectations. I have a Committment Program benefit since I purchased my car at Toyota of Katy. This program provides me with no cost basic maintenance.
I had a scheduled appointment for a Monday but my battery was giving me difficulty and I figured my car would need jump starts over the weekend if I needed to go anywhere. So I decided to drop my car off on a Friday around 1pm and just be car‐less for the weekend.
I explained to intake why I was dropping my car off early and that I would need a ride back to work, which Toyota of Katy provides if needed.
They service person, Carlos, showed me that my battery cost and labor would be $203 and some change. He also said my car would be ready that same day. I had mentioned no worries and that I would need to ask a coworker for a ride to pick up my car.
Carlos said that he would contact me when my car was ready, and that if I needed a ride back to pick up my car to let him know so he could arrange for a ride for me again.
I had doubts that my car would be ready as so many people brought in their car for service at the same time and I had to wait in line even.
But Carlos called me as soon as my car was ready which was just 2 hours after I dropped off my car. I did find a friend to take me even though Carlos did ask if I needed transportation back.
When I went to pay for the services, surprise! My total cost was less than I was quoted. It was a little over $10 less but it still felt like a big win!
Up until I dropped off my car I was having a bad day with other services and appointments and somehow Toyota of Katy made my day so much better!
This isn't the first time they have made service so easy and been so helpful.
