The new Toyota Corolla for sale features a 2.0L cylinder engine that can generate up to 169 horsepower. On top of that, this model also comes with a hybrid powertrain option! It can produce 121 horsepower when in front-wheel drive.
 

When looking at the 2023 Toyota Camry, there are three engine options: a 2.5L engine (205 horsepower), a 3.5L V6 engine (301 horsepower), and a hybrid (208 horsepower). In contrast to the Corolla, the Camry has a higher base engine horsepower and maximum horsepower output. However, like the Corolla, the Camry does have an available all-wheel drive system!

And when considering gas mileage, the gas-powered Corolla estimates 31 City/40 highway mpg, and the gas-powered Camry can get up to 28 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway. For the hybrid versions, each of these cars has similar efficiency ratings. The Corolla Hybrid gets up to 53 city/52 highway mpg, and the Camry Hybrid gets up to 51 city/53 highway.

First things first—the 2023 Camry is bigger than the 2023 Corolla. It has a total passenger volume of 100.4 cubic feet, whereas the Toyota Corolla has a total passenger volume of 88.6 cubic feet. 

As for storage space, the Camry has a bigger trunk than the Corolla. It has a maximum cargo capacity of 15.1 cubic feet, and the Corolla has a 13.1 

Corolla Vs. Camry: Warranty & Reliability

Both the Corolla and Camry come with a 3-year/36,000-mile basic warranty and a 5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty. Equally important, both cars have a free maintenance plan, with two years of 25,000 miles of coverage.

If we had to choose, the Corolla is more reliable than the Camry. It earned a J.D Power reliability rating of 85/100 compared to 84/100 for the Camry.
